Now when painting the ceiling, it is important that one does not wet the roller right away as it will actually create a mess that will drip on him later on. What he can do is that he can first cover the ceiling with paint and just add a little bit of water later on.
Now at this point, he has to make sure that the baseboards do not get smeared with paint otherwise the job will not look good. One tip to make sure that the baseboards are not hit is to simply put some tape on them and then take them out later when the entire job in done.
